MG Audio Reliability Program

For businesses where sound cannot fail.

This program is designed for businesses where sound impacts the customer experience and downtime is not acceptable.

If your business depends on sound, waiting for something to break is not a strategy.

Most systems work fine until they don’t. And when they don’t, it’s already a problem.

The Reliability Program is designed to prevent issues, reduce downtime, and give you fast access when something needs attention.

This is not a maintenance plan. It’s structured support for businesses that rely on their sound system every day.

Priority Reliability

  • Priority scheduling
  • Faster response times
  • Familiarity with your system
  • Service history tracking
  • Periodic system review
  • Preferred client status

You’re not paying for service calls.
You’re paying for:

  • Fewer disruptions
  • Faster resolution
  • A system that works when it matters
  • A partner who already knows your setup

We limit the number of clients in this program to maintain response quality and availability.

Knowledge Base

Practical guidance for common commercial audio issues.

First, verify power to the main amplifier rack. Check that the mixer or control processor isn't muted. If certain zones are working but others aren't, the issue is likely isolated to a specific amplifier channel or a severed speaker line in that zone. When the entire system is down, it’s usually a single point of failure at the rack.

Distortion is a symptom of clipping. Make sure the input source (like a phone, DJ mixer, or laptop) isn't turned way past what the local input panel can handle. If the input level is fine but speakers still sound bad, the speakers themselves may be blown, or the amplifier may be failing due to overheating or age.

Uneven coverage (dead spots and loud spots) happens when speakers are not placed or aimed correctly for the shape of the room. It cannot be fixed simply by turning the volume up. Correcting this requires realigning current speakers, adding supplemental "fill" speakers, or replacing incorrect speakers with units that have wider dispersion angles.

Wireless dropouts are primarily caused by frequency interference or antenna placement. If your wireless receiver is buried inside a metal rack with no external antennas, signal will be weak. Check batteries first, then verify the frequency isn't conflicting with local cellular or TV bands.

A constant hum or buzz is almost always a "ground loop" caused by audio equipment sharing power with something else improperly, or by unbalanced audio cables running too far. Never lift the electrical ground to fix this; it is dangerous. Professional isolation transformers or correct balanced wiring routing is required.

It’s time to upgrade when you are frequently spending money on service calls for failing components, when staff create complicated workarounds to make the system function, or when the audio quality actively detracts from the customer experience.

Acoustic treatment controls how sound bounces around a room. If your venue is loud and echoing, simply buying better speakers won't fix it. Acoustic panels absorb excess energy, resulting in increased clarity, easier conversations, and a more controlled, premium environment for guests.
